Buffy on Tor

Buffy on Tor

Yesterday  Buffy and I went and climbed RoughTor and Brown Willy, despite being a Sunday we saw very few people which is hardly surprising as it was pretty damp, and very windy! I haven’t been up here for ages as we are usually coast bound but felt climbing up the two highest points in Cornwall … Continue reading »

Final photographic image of Trevose Lighthouse

This is the shot I managed to get on Monday looking through the tamarisk hedge, the rocks in the background show the Quies from a very different angle from what you usually can see from the surrounding beaches. I have not adjusted the colours in any way and it was amazing to have gannets flying … Continue reading »

Happy Christmas from all of us!

Happy Christmas from all of us!

Our Christmas cake is slightly more sea based this year, mostly made by Lucy with two additions from  Ashleigh and Dom who happened to drop in during the decorative period, not hard to guess which bits they did! The mulled wine I made has gone down so well, literally, that I am having to buy … Continue reading »

The cat’s going for the nuts….

Found this out this morning, Bought the nuts yesterday and put them in our gorgeous large mussel bowl, we wondered why quite soon after they looked over shiny for nuts and caught our cat in the act! Needless to say we removed the cat and threw away the nuts!

The Christmas tree went up last night!

The Christmas tree went up last night!

Well we put the tree up and started to decorate around it and despite trying to use a only red theme this year,  some unwanted decorations found their way onto the tree and very soon there were no red balls left around most of it!

Not Exactly Killer Whales!

Not Exactly Killer Whales!

While walking the dog in this cold wind and keeping my head down, I have collected these fabulous fishing lures washed up on the big swells. If I had only been keeping my head up and looking out to sea I might have seen the two Orca’s or Killer Whales that Dom from Explore The … Continue reading »
